The resurrection of Jesus wasn’t quiet or gentle—it showed up loud and clear. The earth shook. A glowing angel dropped in, rolled away the stone, and then sat on it like a boss (Matthew 28:2–3). Even the Roman soldiers—trained to face death—hit the ground in fear. This moment wasn’t just spiritual; it was physical, powerful, and impossible to ignore. And yet, while the truth broke through, a fake story started spreading through the city (Matthew 28:11–15). It’s a reminder: real hope will always face resistance.

But listen to what the angel says—three simple, life-shaping commands: “Don’t be afraid. Come and see. Go and tell” (Matthew 28:5–7). These aren’t just for the women at the tomb—they’re for us. Face your fear. Look closely at the truth. And share the hope with someone who needs it.

If the resurrection really happened—and it did—then fear, failure, and even death don’t get the final word. Paul says without it, faith would be useless (1 Corinthians 15:17). But Peter calls it a “living hope” (1 Peter 1:3), and John reminds us: If you have Jesus, you have life (1 John 5:12).
